General Management

KPUS is a people welfare organization of the people by the people and for the people. The general committee is comprised of 21 members from mass people such as Teachers, Special workers Development workers Women activist and the Lawyer. The general committee is the supreme authority and it is guided by the approved constitutions. The general committee is responsible for annual planning budgeting, reporting, auditing as well as approving and forming the Executive Board. The general Committee meets once a year but retains the power to call any emergency meeting.

Executive Board

KPUS is governed by the Executive Board, which consists of 7 members that are elected by the general members for a period of three years. The Executive Board is responsible to assist the organization in policy making and technical advice in overall program operation. During reporting period four Executive Board meetings were held with active participation of all the members. They discussed various aspects of the program intervention such as area of operation staff recriutme4nt policy paper development and implementing strategy. The Executive Director is the key person who leads and ensures smooth implementation of overall project activities. The Executive Director recruits staff with the assistance of a Recruitment Committee. To ensure overall transparency and accountability in program and finance there is a program Coordinator and Accounts Officer.

Annual General Meeting (AGM)

The Annual General Meeting (AGM) of KPUS is held on once a year. Annual report, Audit report and Annual budget and plan were presented and approved and also selected the audit farms for next year audit and also elected the Executive Board.

Executive Board meeting

The Executive Board members met quarterly total 4 meetings were held during reporting period. In the meeting the Executive Director presents quarterly progress and financial report. The board members review project wise quarterly physical and financial progress review implementing strategy etc. and give necessary suggestion.

Coordination meeting at management level

To look into the overall progress in project activities towards the target a monthly coordination meeting of senior management staff was held regularly. All the senior staff participated in the meeting. The meeting reviewed monthly project wise action plan and progress verified overall roles and responsibilities of assigned staff and solved the problems both at field and management level. This coordination meeting was very helpful for ensuring both qualitative outputs enhancing relationship ensuring transparency and accountability and also developing communications skill The Executive Board members met quarterly and total 4 meetings were held during reporting period.
